You have lower +ve percentage gain then -ve percentage gain range. However, 1,000 points is still a high range. I view Nikkei is trying to establish 17.5K fundation before moving up again.

The 307 point advance last night has got us to within 62 points of your 17,800. Also the HK idea of a mutual fund to absorb the stock bought has helped the Hang Seng.
