To All, PC Magazine readers rate the cos. for service and reliability: biz.yahoo.com Some surprises here. Compaq used to be rated very highly on the desktop and now receives a D in a system where A is the best. IBM was previously rated crapola and is now at the top of the heap with Dell and Quanex. Dell and Gateway fell out of the A class on notebooks. I never realized that crappy Gateway notebooks ever got an A. Must have had some drunk poll takers last year. <g> For some reason this piece doesn't tell us how poorly Gateway desktops did.
