Used to be, when you periodically checked the internets and saw these values, you would ask the question, I wonder if it split 2-1 or was it 3-1. Now the answer ends up being "it didn't split". I new there would be the day when I would be pleased that I never took a net position, long or short.

Best Regards,
Jim

P.S. Jim, did you ever do anything? Looks like a summer rally may be coming...

<<Are they mostly shorts are just disgruntled longs?>>

It often seems that each board gets one official short. We had Stagger here and then Woodland showed up after Stagger threw in the towel. The Yahoo board had I Am Superior To You, and AOL had a few transitory shorts. But no, the AOL only has frustrated longs--and these were the super bulls from 1997 and even earlier. Of course they all hold thousands and thousands of shares and for the most part have no intention of selling anything until December.

<<Let 'em throw their money at the Internut stocks.>>

Good point. I think what's happened is a lot of the lesser bulls and the position traders have moved on to the internet stocks. It's hurt us YTD and I love every decline I see in those stocks.
