$,

The post did not seem outrageous and you are the one posting incomplete and therefore erroneous info (like the 10%, I believe premium that dlj would have to pay for dir in the event of a buyout. Why would DLJ ever do that? ) on the thread.

So, you like bweb and strm, but do not like DIR. So be it. I look forward to your unwarranted and unsubstantiated attack.

Brian

Im glad your not bashing dir. Phew that scares me. I may have more shares or less shares , however I dont think anythready gives a hoot. I must have misunderstood the statement that DIR is #2 and #1, thats what they say. I am sure you can get unhappy people from Etrade etc.. Ive been happy with dlj and will stay where I am. I feel, my opinion only, that we will see the big spike and we will all be happy. gazuntite.

<DLJ Direct is NOWHERE near #1>

Barron's rates DLJdirect the #1 online broker.

"For the fifth time in seven quarters DLJdirect was rated the #1 Internet broker by Gomez Advisors of Boston. DLJdirect received the highest overall score on the Spring 1999 Internet Broker Scorecard, and was named the best service for the Serious Investor and Life Goal Planner"

Time Digital also rated DLJdirect the top web-based discount broker.

Everything above is a fact. How you interpret it is up to you.

DLJdirect (PCFN) was also one of the first, if not the first, electronic broker. It was around before people were using the net. At that time, you accessed it either through AOL or Prodigy. DLJdirect is very well established. I believe they are also one of the few OLB which does not have law suits against them <gg>.

My market share ranking was incorrect.

<In term of being #1, they are not in in independent studies like Gomez, which means alot more than barrons, because guess who pays Barons in ads, yes DLJ.>

Yes, and I'm sure none of the other 20 on-line brokers surveyed ever advertise in Barron's....get real.

<Gomez, which means alot more than barrons,>

Is this the same Gomez that has rated DLJdirect the #1 Overall Internet Broker for 5 of the last 7 quarters??? The same one that rated DLJdirect #1 for serious investors and #1 for life planners??
