Bobby, pretty darn quick will indeed be a requirement. looking at the '29 and '87 charts, it becomes clear that the window of opportunity is very small. btw, a look at the nikkei chart makes BK's 52K target seem a bit less outlandish<g>. seriously, if you take the '87 crash on the nikkei, it looks precisely like the '98 financial accident on a long term chart. if the blow-off phase is extrapolated in a similar way, a Dow target of approx. 15,000 would result, to be reached by the end of 2,000. of course markets don't repeat their respective performances in exactly the same manner. it is only worth noting how far and how fast the nikkei went after it suffered it's first sharp break. decisionpoint.com
