I have both an MBT and Datek account, among others. I'm mainly a position trader. Datek is fine with me. I only use limit orders. If you want to give any broker a lot of your money, use market orders. I always watch the Island book when I use Datek. Sometimes Datek's servers are swamped. The same thing happens at MBT. I suggest having accounts at multiple brokers, a backup ISP, and two quote sources. I always keep plenty of margin available in case I need to make my exiting trade at the another broker.
