scott..thanks the smart money article on cpq

please reread, especially the next to last two paragraphs about cpq initiatives beyond the pc....this is a company waiting for management direction, the perfect choice for a turn around candidate, if they get a "gerstner" type. cpq is at the proverbial "strategic inflection point" if it meets the challenge it is a bargain at these levels, as ibm was when priced in the thirties.....not sure if you recall the articles written during that time about big blue..."deja vu all over again".....if you are a long term investor, and are not blinded by dell as the only stock in the universe then you may want to consider cpq....is much wiser to buy cpq at these levels then 95% of the internet issues, for it is a real company, regardless of current weakness...look what management did for t.....as in changing the direction of the company...cpq has the infrastructure in other products, development and service...they are far beyond dell with these capabilities..just have to get management...
