Finally, there is Mt. Tom Minerals [Vancouver-MTK], which recently announced an update on financing and acquisitions. Because of some speculation on their shares - a five-time jump in share price - and some postings on the StockHouse® BullBoards™, the company confirmed that "management have been searching for and reviewing business acquisitions in the Internet/technology sector." The news release also assured that no written agreements have been made at this time. The company plans a "working capital" financing to clean up its outstanding debts and set some money aside.

MTK.V from the May 26 release:

<This transaction constitutes a change of business under VSE policies and accordingly the shares of the Company will remain
halted until the Company has obtained sponsorship from a registered broker dealer.>

I want to talk to the VSE. If this was the ASE, the above would be classed, IMO, as an RTO (reverse take over) and the halt could be a long one. I am not nearly as familiar with VSE rules as ASE.

Just my own deal here also, is I really am not convinced about this whole internet gambling bit. Made a few bucks trading WINR, but they've gone nowhere. See and hear a lot about this gambling, but don't see anyone actually making any $$. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places or it just isn't my thing. I love Vegas, Reno, etc, I love 7 Stud, Poker, Blackjack, and I even love the traditional slots (screw the fancier ones), but I can't even get into the VLT's that Alberta has, just too cold and computerish, and not fun at all.

So I want to know what this "sponsorship" is all about. What about Cannacrap, seems like it would be just their Cannaworms.
