<CuMine problems may explain why Intel have not pre-announced lower Q2
revenue yet.>
I do not see how CuM delay is affecting
their Q2 business... I think for "real investors"
those plus-minus $0.5B in Q2 profits is not an
issue. The bigger issue I see is the delay announcement
itself. They could perfectly stay in promised
533 range for introduction, and explain to dumb
public the absence of higher grades by something
like "inexpectedly high demand of old reliable
P-III", or something like that. I have a very
big FUD about this announcement. It may mean that
the MHz pressure from AMD is so high that 533 or even
600 will be way off the selling point in November.
It also spells more good-bye to successful "on-time"
Merced tape-out... Interesting development.
