"Having money in ANY stock can hurt if you don't realize what you are doing. Just because your stock went up more in the last 6 months, or last couple years for that matter, does not mean that will continue forever, or that it was a better investment." Agreed. That applies to any stock including THQI. "You obviously know this when you use words such as bet, speculator, etc." I use those words because investors in Internet stocks are called speculators, gamblers, etc. Are those folks who got into stocks like Yahoo! early gamblers or investors who had a vision of the future? "Meanwhile I will invest for the long term in well managed companies such as THQ." My concern right now is what happens to THQI's stock price IF and when the company fails to surprise on the upside as it has done in the past. Remember Kory, THQI has beats earnings estimates repeatedly: biz.yahoo.com THIQ is down 16% YTD and 23% off its 52 week high and that's with good earnings! And S&P ranks THQI as High Risk. No one ever brings up that point. Its always better things are coming. Higher prices next quarter. What happens? Those price forecasts never seem to materialize with those good numbers. Now what happens IF and when the company fails to exceed the estimate? Wish to wager a guess? I don't own any THQI right now. Yes it has a low PE and in that regard is attractive. I may again at some point, but I would rather buy at some higher price later than to tie up money where it can be doing much more. When the market ever turns to value stocks then and only then will THQI and other low PE stocks come back into favor. "We'll get together in 10 years and see who is better off." Yes lets do. David and Tom Gardener(The Motley Fool) own a few inets including AMZN, EBAY and AOL. They were in early and have given solid reasons why they are good investments, not simply speculative bets. If your interested in what they have to say, I have a copy of their Internet Stock Report. Be glad to send you a copy. Kory, I'm sure you believe in THQI's future and owning the stock maybe a good long, long term investment value. I'll keeping investing in AOL and watch THQI closely. See you in 10 years and compare notes on which was a better investment as defined as total return on principle. Maybe both stocks will make us good money. Kelvin
