Oh dang ... and all this time I thought it was "thy brother's"... hmmm... nobody else here caught it either.....

Maybe this explains my angry feminist tendencies! It was just a big misunderstanding all along!

Anyway, my objection stems from the word "covet"... which I view as possessionary in the material sense (as opposed to the word belong also possessionary but more personal - he belongs to me, etc.), however, the mere use of the word covet in bibilcal scriptures of any kind may have altered its meaning, and there is the translation issue in the first place.
