I look at each one and here is my list from all of them.
To get on my list they had to have any number of shares and no per share charge over
5000 on penny shocks
#1 U. S. Discount Brokerage (USDB)$19.95 any number of shares
#2 MyTrack $15.95 any number of shares
#3 Vision Trade $16 any number of shares
#4 Tradestar Investment $19 any of number of shares
#5 E*Trade $19.95 any number of shares on penny stocks

Sure seems reasonable to me. One problem though.....#5 on the list is jacking Mike Gold around on getting him his Medinah Gold certificates. First they said the would not even order them for him until some other time (how dare them tell anyone that), then they recently told him they would charge him $75 to "research" it further. Like I said, Fidelity ain't the cheapest but they have always handled anything I've thrown them expeditiously and in a very professional manner.

My e-trade brochure says in small print on the back, "...limit and stop orders are $19.95. For listed orders over 5,000 shares, add $0.01/share to the entire order."

I think that's how Madeleine got shnookered. My broker charges $50 per trade but at least you know where you stand when you dump 10,000 or 15,000 shares at limit.
