Lee, Re "outlandish to reasonable" Isn't that what the equity markets are all about? I liken it to a supermarket, where some items are on sale, some items are heavily hyped by their placement, etc. A Prudent shopper learns to differentiate. Now, if we could only get some of those coupons. <g> You are correct; the projected PE assumes Friday's closing price. I believe we have enough difficulties placing a great deal of faith in the projected earnings estimates. However, I know no other way to handle the problem, but would welcome suggestions. Berney
