SUCMMbria - Re: "I have heard from a number of people in Los Alamos that this whole security scandal has little substance, and is being driven by Congressional politics."

I recall you hearing about the IBM manufactured 400 MHz K6's - down at the POOL about a year ago.

I suggest you deal in facts - not in your so-called "hearings".

Paul

Scumbria et al: There was and perhaps still is a General from the Japanese Army whose job it is to monitor the basic research experiments going on at Brookhaven National Lab. Once or twice a year he used to (probably sends it by EMail now) pack up his notes and for old Nippon and make sure the Sons of Same were not falling behind. Now they are our "friends" even though they think our noses are too long and we stink but you gotta be smokin' some loco weed to think the Chinese weren't doing the same thing. Only difference is that they are not exactly our friends. I suppose the report that the head of Chinese intelligence was an invited guest of the White House was just a rumor. Come on this admin. is not going to jeopardize its campaign funding over a little matter like national security. Next you will tell us that Sandy Berger was not a lobbyist for the Chinese prior to his present job. Come on let's not play Pollyana here.
