Michael,

Agree it seems unlikely, but here's a possible scenario showing 88% mktshare
for desktops, with portable growth at 29% and desktop growth at 18%. Not
saying this is what's going on, but even with falling ASPs in both desktop and
portables there's a way rev growth could equal unit growth - if portable ASPs
are sufficiently high. Without knowing the magnitude of ASP's in the two
segments revenue growth = unit growth can't be ruled out.

Units 99 98 chg
Desktop 880 746 18.0%
Portables 120 93 29.0%
Tot Unit 1000 839 19.2%

Unit Price
Desktop 760 800 -5.0%
Portables 6800 7000 -2.9%

Total Rev
Desktop 668,800 596,610 12.1%
Portable 816,000 651,163 25.3%
Total 1,484,800 1,247,773 19.0%
