Eicon Forms Strategic Partnership With INETCO Systems to
Promote Multiple Protoco Support on its WAN Cards -
INETCO to Integrate its Multiple Protocols Into Eicon's WAN Connectivity Cards

JUNE 22, 1999
MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA--Eicon Technology, a global leader in
remote access solutions, today announced a strategic partnership
with INETCO Systems, a leading developer of communications
software for transaction processing. Under the terms of the
agreement, INETCO will integrate its network protocols into
Eicon's Wide Area Networking Cards, which will be jointly promoted
by both companies to the self service/kiosk, retail point-of-sale
(POS) and banking markets.
INETCO will integrate the following network protocols into Eicon's
S-class and C-class EiconCards: 3270/3275 Bisync slave, Datapac
3201 (NCR/X3.28) slave, Burroughs TC500/700 slave, and 3780/2780
BSC. A large suite of other WAN and legacy protocols are also
available for integration into the EiconCards.
By selling its EiconCards with the addition of INETCO's protocols,
Eicon will be building upon its presence in the retail and self-
service kiosk marketplaces.

protocols - allowing us to enhance our retail-specific
connectivity solutions for the POS self-service and retail banking
markets," said David Soul, President, INETCO Systems. "Eicon's
ability to provide diverse, global connectivity solutions allows
us to enhance our positioning as a leading provider of

retail/POS, self-service kiosks and retail banking, we are excited
by the opportunities that INETCO's protocols bring to our WAN
connectivity products," added Ken Gingrich, Eicon's Senior Vice
President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing Operations. "Our WAN
interface cards now provide the widest range of protocol support
enabling our customers to offer a single card for all WAN applications."
