David, Yes I described the technique of using ARCA to "play market maker" thereby making the spread, roughly two weeks ago on this thread. I think you'd find it quickly by referring to Eric's excellent thread summary [which I vote for as an excellent feature too]. There is a shorter synopsis posted recently on the MB Trading thread.

If you have questions after finding that, feel free to inquire further. The principles are simple, but it does involve understanding several key concepts and tying them together; takes some practice: 1)how "the inside market" works, 2)how/why orders are filled across the spread (in relation to buying/selling pressure) 3)using this to TIME your order in relation to the momentum of the issue "in the here and now" - a key point, and 4) how to set the limit PRICE of your order (closely related to #3).
