Good morning, Jill. I love it when the market finishes UP on a Friday; this will be a great weekend <g>. But there is a danger - it's easy to spend money when you've just had a great increase in portfolio value <new car/computer/cell phone/etc>, but on Monday you have to go back to the Casino, and we better make sure we still have a full stake to wager.

Since you are in to statistics, how about determining the relationship between daily nasdaq closing prices and the number of posts on G&K or SI overall. I'll bet there's a strong correlation.

Frank

btw reading your recent posts, it seems you are entering a "gathering" phase. Let's cut the time down from 2 years to 3 months; I'm too old to wait that long <g>.

Jill,

MSN portfolio manager is free and will do it for you automatically if you just put the dates and amounts of trades/purchases in.

Does it calculate the internal rate of return or the return on investment?
