Taht would be Felis supradomesticus.

Fwiw: "anthropogenic": made or caused by man - usually referring to changes in nature. The ozone hole is anthropogenic, as is hip-hop.

"Anthropogenic" is a made up New Latin word based on Greek roots meaning (strictly) derived genetically from man. Of course, "anthro" means man too, and pog -- relates to beard, so an interpretation is have to do with men's beards.Educated people (like LRR) are authorized and licensed by their doctorates (it's in small type on the bottom left) to create words that are needed to save type but they are enjoined to be careful as wello as economical. "Anthro" is of course man, but its Greek and I prefer "humano-". -genic means genetic, or more losely "caused by." Mixing Greek and Latin roots (like Sociology) is only permitted to the French. I think "caused by people" would be more accurate, but anthropogenic is fine if someone wants to show off (and who doesn't on this thread) and dazzle hoi polloi. The closest standard word is "anthropogenesis" which means something entirely different -- relating to the theory of the origin of man.

I was working on Precious today, my pretty baby bass boat. She's been shut down and tarped over for 10 days while I used the jon boat for bait gathering. I opened the front compartment and out pops a cat. Ran like a SOB. Must have been in there when I shut her up 10 days ago. No food, no water and best of all no shit. Took me an hour to get the hair out and the scratches fixed.
