As I have 'fessed up elsewhere, I am a devotee of mysteries. P. D. James is food and drink to me. I actually cheered when Peter Wimsey had enough sense ro notice that Harriet Vane was really the soul mate for whom he had been searching. But how about the newer ones? Robert Clark, Mr. White's Confession Michael Connelly, Blood Work Robert Goddard (Henry Holt), Beyond Recall Domenic Stansberry, The Last Days of il Duce J. Wallis Martin, A Likeness in Stone I can keep going if Christopher doesn't tell me to shut the hell up!
