you guys forgot all about Trident (TRID). Cash Per Share $3. No debt Current Book value $7.50 Current Stock Price $9 7/16 Al Frank on Tuesday confirmed with Trident that their UICC $50 million investment is going to be worth $200 million in UMC stock. As a double check, I confirmed this same information with Trident on Friday. This $150 million increase in value over the $50 million carrying cost, will add $11 (pretax) to net worth, bring total net worth to $18 (pretax). No analyst currently covers Trident. I look for some type of coverage soon based upon my conversatins with Trident.
