Blank, both Mr. Pink and Anthony at Pacific are SI shorts who have a good record and a large following. And a big pocketbook to back their calls. However, they make mistakes like everyone else. If Mr. Pink is recommending people go short here, he may well be in league with the larger IDTC shorts. Remember there is a short position here of about 1.7M shares.

IMO, it would be foolish to short at this time. If one were going to short, the time would be AFTER the usual pre-IPO run up, after the IPO is trading. I am sure Mr. Pink is well aware of this phenomenon.

Furthermore, he would be wise to take note of the large institutional buying of IDTC the last few days, not to mention the small float in the stock. If there are about 12M shares in the float and institutions own say, 50%, that leaves about 6M shares. Let's say long term shareholders own another 2-3M. That leaves about 3-4M actual float of which about 1.7M are currently short.

This makes for an especially explosive situation should there be additional institutional buying or substantial retail buying in anticipation of the IPO, which is almost a given.

Now I can see the rationale of shorting this at say 35-40, but at 23? With an IPO coming that has Softbank, GE and AOL as investors? I just cannot see it, especially with rates of .01/minute weekends and .039/minute weekdays on the way, which will attract millions of new customers. Currently IDTC owns 66% of NTOP.

Blank, not getting into another stupid pissing match with you, and most of the points I uncovered while investigating this stock are still valid to me. Others can certainly take them for what they're worth and you might add that the majority of those that try the PC to phone product don't use it a second time.

That said, I didn't jump on the MP bandwagon, simply agreed with another poster that this might be a development to keep an eye on. The only reason I posted to you (my mistake) was to suggest that MP has a lot of credibility, tgat you were very likely off base on your MP conspiracy theories as you were with my intentions here, and that maybe even the mighty blankmind might want to keep an open mind. It was offered as friendly advise which you have opted not to take and I respect that.

BTW, in that you mentioned it, 10-10-345 has extended their special to September...very happy with it.
