China, From Horselist> G8 discussed China, Russia WTO candidacies - U.S. Reuters Story - June 19, 1999 11:45 Jump to first matched term COLOGNE, Germany, June 19 (Reuters) - Several leaders of the Group of Eight nations on Saturday urged the early admission of China and Russia to the World Trade Organisation (WTO), an official in the U.S. delegation to the talks said. "A number of the leaders discussed their interest and hope that there would be an early resolution of China's and Russia's accession to the WTO," the U.S. official, who requested anonymity, told reporters. Talks on China's WTO entry have been suspended since NATO bombed Beijing's Belgrade embassy during the Western alliance's 11-week campaign of air strikes against Yugoslavia. But Washington has been trying to rebuild bridges over the incident and hopes talks could resume on getting China into the global free trade club. Russia, which is a member of the G8 but is deeply in debt to the West, hopes to open talks on joining the WTO this summer.

Three weeks ago they started coverage of QCOM @ $105 with a target of $130. So it hit $130 on friday, so they now say hold the stock. Their analyst that follows QCOM is now saying what a great call he made. Where was he in February? Their stock picking is #1 because they only follow sure things. QCOM is just starting. Jim
