I was there! The red ones are MiG 17s flown by private American owners. We went by their static display area late in the day, and the pilots were seated there signing autographs. They are sponsored by Stolichnaya Vodka. When they were in the air the announcer kept referring to them as Stoli Migs. At first I thought he was saying "stolen Migs"! How dense! Too many jet engines down the taxiway of life these eardrums. Anyway, as the pilots were autographing pictures, an enterprising Air Force Tech Sergeant in front of us pulled a couple of fifths of Stoli Vodka out of a bag he was carrying and asked for signatures on it. The crew, at first taken by surprise, immediately recognized the appropriateness and congratulated him on his marketing expertise. This is really a civilian air show, but they did have a few vintage war birds flown by the Confederate Air Force and a couple of A10s were there as well. One performed. No ammo just maneuvers. There was an ASW-24 on static display too. I am sunburnt.
