Well the little critters took to the wading pool like, well, like baby raccoons to water! They made a muddy mess of it over night and late at night we could hear them chattering and scurrying around on our back deck. We got some great film of them wading about in it. I've emptied out the pool, refilled it, swept and cleaned the area. We fed the mother some more grapes last night. We are thinking of trying some small peeled carrots, some old lettuce and some cat kibble for tonight. I've been reading that raccoons enjoy a wide gastronomic dietary variety.

One agency has emailed back with some referrals. They however, specialize in raptors and other carnivorous birds. I'm thinking that in a few weeks to a month they will be ready for a relocation. They still have trouble managing to climb the one foot high deck yet and don't seem to be much interested in food yet either. Mother is still suckling them. But they should grow well, as mom seems healthy and well nourished.
