BGR,

If you were estimating Inet revenue, then your figures
imply that in 10 years time Inet revenue is up by a factor
of 46.48. If the Inet business is over 2% now, then the larger
part of commerce would be handled over the Net.

In Sweden, a recent survey showed that the most ecommerce is done
(no big surprise) by the mail order companies. The figure was 3.9%
web orders.
The rest of the etail business was less than 0.5% of retail.

I guess we still like to stroll around in shopping malls,
kicking tires on used autos, feeling the texture on clothes.
If ecommerce takes over, the whole structure of city cores
and personal activities may be changed.

One woman to the other:" Oh, I found the most exciting little
French boutique yesterday"
The other woman:" What's the URL?"
