Speaking of speech writers, Gore made an indirect jab at GWB in his speech the other day. In usual liberal speak where no republican can EVER out give away others' hard-earned tax dollars, Gore said something about not giving "crumbs of compassion". This was a reference of course to GWB who calls himself a compassionate conservative. Let the battle begin!

Re: Gore duplicity

The interview was on TV, one of those news shows with high powered reporters, such as Barbara Walters. It may have been 20/20 as already mentioned, and was taped just before he walked out to the stage to declare his candidacy. I don't think it was the speech writers. I think it's just Gore's simple mindedness. I'm not sure his right hand knows what his left hand is doing.
