The thread fins are 3 to 5 inches. I had two gizzard shad at 12 and 14 inches. Tossin' was slow as the power plant has been shut down by the Nuclear people for almost 3 years. I live in Illinois. Gets cold in the winter and we have a die off.

Reason I was looking at that back water slough was I went by it in my bass boat and it was alive with 12 to 16 inch gizzard shad with their backs out of water. Went back in the jon boat and they had left.

Have you tried a chrome/black redfin doing the slow V wake?
