Comedy! Yep, it has been—to a certain extent. BW objected to our request for a 30-Day extension (Webnode defendants are spread from California to Italy, and arranging permanent counsel hasn't been easy, let alone the "proper service" issues relating to Janice's residency in Milan). However, BW didn't give a particularly good reason—in fact, their reason was a 'just because we said so' excuse—that it was 'excessive'.

The judge ruled in our favour, suggesting that in legal matters, 'good reasons' are generally a 'good thing' to have:

“Plaintiff…argues, without identifying any prejudice from a 30-day extension, that Defendants' request is excessive.

Defendants' ex parte motion is GRANTED. Defendants shall respond to Plaintiff's complaint no later than June 17, 1999.”
