James, I am long 600 shares at an average of 115. I could not calculate an average cost from when I was short. Candidly, I am not sure how to do that. I was able to calculate the total loss on that stock when I completed posting my trades for my accountant for tax purposes. I want to add something more. My accountant is female and I know how you feel about Bezos talking to females. She had no desire to talk to Bezos but made a comment to me that was kind of funny. She was teasing (I think) but she asked why my wife did not leave me. I could have answere with all the mushy stuff about how my wife and I are a good team but I chose to tell here Joy Covey cashed in about $10 million in Amazon stock in 1998. I asked her (my accountant) if her firm pays that well<G> I assume the answer is no because she stopped asking about my wife. Let's also keep this in perspective. My accountant was teasing with the question. I have used her as an accountant for more than ten years so we do a bit of that type of teasing without taking offense. Glenn

How do James...eh, i suppose big money has been made or lost, but haven't you posted that this is a stock that has split more than once... therefore, hasn't it room to fall ? mkt cap is still in the stratosphere... I saw a cnn report on homeshopping dot com...i noted the drivers have to wear some sort of booties to not mess up the customers house...how kind, but won't dropping frozen pork chops on their feet hurt ? those compensation claims could be a problemo... <g> IKE
