Not addressed to you. Addressed to those people who rushed (properly, as I did) to assail those who would drag a black man behind a truck because of his race, or hang a homosexual person on a fence because of his sexual orientation, but are noticably silent when persons of faith are gunned down because of their faith. Addressed to the supporters, e.g., of college speech codes that discipline students for using terms of derogation about race, sex, sexual orientation and force them to attend sensitivity classes, but completely ignore derogation of faith. If the things said on this thread had been said in the context of race, or sex, or sexual orientation, there would have been outrage. But portions of our society have moved to the point where attacking--even to the point of death--a person because of their faith is somehow fair game.
