I've been forced to use only my Tradewinds charts today...GPF have become unbearable...I will be going back to SEO-41r1.exe until I upgrade to Esignal...however, I'm very concerned w/ 5.0 DM problems there as well... I will probably use an older version of that as well! I have spoken to support...I am not experiencing any problems now...it's been very disruptive...I've lost about 1 1/2 hr. of trading the last for days trying to resolve these issues...hard to concentrate on the market w/ all this going on. I went all last year prior to 5.0 with NO difficulties.

A few days ago, I wrote about having a problem about my time and sales windows coming up huge every morning, going across both monitors I am running, and having to resize them every time I bring up the program. Someone wrote back and said this was a bug and that an update to the program would be posted anyday. Nothing has been posted yet.

I have noted another problem since going to esignal. I'll boot up, get on the internet, bring up esignal, bring up the browser(Netscape 4.6 128 bit encryption), resize my time and sales windows, then try to connect to my account with the browser. About half the time lately, I can't connect to anything anywhere. I am getting data on esignal, but can't go anywhere with my browser. Can't do email either.

So far, shutting everything down and rebooting has fixed the problem. But everytime I bring up esignal, I have to resize those stupid time and sales windows and put them back where they should be on the screen.

My ISP says nothing they are doing should be causing the browser problems of not getting anywhere. I have made no other changes to my system since installing esignal. Is this another esignal problem?

My esignal version is 5.0, build 156, dated 4/30/99.

Jim,

Have you considered Datek with daSlinger as your integrated trading partner? Datek has more customers than any of the trading partners you currently have. With daSlinger integrated with eSignal it should be very attractive to new customers.

Jim I went to the link: esignal.com and clicked Ameritrade. NOTHING on their site as to how to link with DBC/eSignal. So I called AMTD to ask and they haven't a clue what the DBC/eSignal situation is.

Wut's up?

Colin
