Jan, you have given a valuable contribution by warning others about the danger of using margin to the fullest. Thanks for sharing your experience. Stock does not go up forever, yet many people think that they will and use the margin to the max. Once the stock makes a correction they have to sell or cover by pouring more money. Experts suggest that they don't pump more money into the account.
