Hi Caroline, <<The spirit of the promise has been broken.>> If one were to unintentionally break a promise due to technicalities beyond one's control, and if one were to have then broken a promise only temporarily whilst trying to rectify things as quickly as possible, has the spirit of the promise still been broken? Is it not the intention and not the deed that matters? Even our criminal justice system is based on intention, right? :) (This might better be addressed on Feelies or Rambi or elsewhere, eh? LOL)
