Well, gee, there is a huge social cost (enormous death rate, etc.) due to a lot of people in a society having Uzis. If you studied the issue, you would find out that other western democracies do not conduct themselves in this manner. And I doubt seriously that Elizabeth Dole would feel safer with Uzis all over the place. The only reason she has protection is because she is a public figure. Again, you are using an illogical argument to support your case.
