Again, your argument is illogical. Everyone who is running for high public office is afforded security NOT because they themselves are royal, upper class, or whatever, but because they aspire to a POSITION where it is known from past behavior that kooks and sickos of all kinds are attracted, for various reasons, to assassination attempts. Are you able to differentiate between a ROLE someone is playing in a republic, and more autocratic societies? I should think you would be able to, if you aren't arguing just for the sure pleasure it seems to bring you.
