KM, Yep, I've noticed that action in that time frame. Another interesting ploy is when MMs force a stock down into the close and then gap it up two or three points preopen. They did this to CMGI on Thursday. It was blatant. I "knew" what they were up to but conservatively passed on the trade. If you could count on the MMs snoozing and falling into patterns, you'd have something. Problem is when they get a step ahead of you and cross up the pattern. Heh. My goal with this stuff is to see so much of it that I begin to trade the stuff I "know." I'll probably get clobbered by the TA guys for this type of thinking but I am getting really close to pulling the trigger on these plays. And hey, it's only money, right? R
