My "take" on CineComm -- CineComm has the opportunity to burn up lots of (their own) money, trying to get digital cinema embraced by the entertainment industry, and ... battling with the competing Texas Instruments technology.

Meanwhile, Qualcomm will be getting checks in the mail from (licensee) CineComm.

Sounds good to me, I think.

Jon.

Straight life,

I called QCOM IR a couple weeks ago and was told CineComm is a private joint venture with ownership split 50-50 between QCOM and Hughes-JVC with Hughes-JVC being a wholly owned subsidiary of Japan Victor Company.
