TD,Thanks for your response, I had read the Gold article just before I posted and that's one long article of hundreds, which is why I said I just do not have the time to resource, let alone digest, this much info.

Others like yourself have done exhaustive research and say they have read ‘way too much', and feel they ‘know' too much and that scares them. That's understandable and I would very much like to avoid that much ‘knowing' right now.

I tend to intuit much of my decision making, yes even when choosing stocks. This has worked well for me in this life, but this Why2K thing seems to have taken on a life of it's own and is hard to get a handle on (it's) scope, impact or ramifications.

My initial instinct regarding Y2K in regard to my stocks was sell half or all at the summer highs, or in there somewhere and just sit back and eat apples until the greater ramifications are known. Now I'm simply looking for a second opinion and thoughts on the matter.

Gold? No, I'd rather have some good soil!

Thanks, Puna
