A cocktail party yes but because money is involved it gets dirty. The icing on the cake is when the peanut gallery comes to criticize or when the goofs who buy at $x come to moan and groan and asign blame at $x/2 or whenever. I continue to be amused by just how much some love the green stuff. But I digress... Good thing about Datek. I thought I was getting penalized here. So I guess it was a weird coincidence then. BTW I thought they said never any ads - maybe sponsorship is not SI's definition of an ad? They must need to generate more money because other ways are failing and their biz model is sputtering... Anyway, the US Women's Soccer Team looks good.

Hey E! Today's issue of Worth Magazine quoted you (August 1999 issue, page 73). The quote came from this post and was at the top of their story. Message 9226334 BTW the story was about how most of the message boards are useless (sounds familiar to a recent rant?) but 1 is not. The author did a 'thoroughly unscientific' test' on four stocks (AT&T, Novell, Razorfish, and eBay) at these messages boards: Yahoo, SI (the only one that charges), Motley Fool, and Raging Bull. The last one won.
