There are NO salmon YET off of Northern Ca. This is by far the worst salmon fishing I have experienced in over 15 years! La Nina has left the water very cold, and the winds has been howling all Spring. Bait is scattered... So looking forward to a "later" run, mabe early August off Bodega Bay. Until then keeping busy doin other stuff. PS Take your grandaughters fishing..then you can visit with them and still go fishing. Guess it depends on how old they are. My guys will be 8 and Im just now starting to take them out in the ocean....
