Every day, I pick up my newspaper and read about someone who has been murdered because of his or her religion. If we had newspapers going back thousands of years, I think the stories would have been in there every day. Certainly we can read about it in the Old Testament, and in the Koran, but, except for Christ, we don't see it in the New Testament, at least not in the Gospel. I can't think of a better reason to believe that Christ doesn't want Christians to kill non-Christians because of their religion, or, for that matter, Christians to kill Christians because their beliefs are not quite right.

Did you ever think about how marvellous it is to read the Gospel without reading about murders? Christ healed people, fed them, and comforted them. Why can't his followers imitate Him?
