Craig,

"Do you really think that Dell will be shut out from K7 production? "

K7 launch is just around the corner - not a good idea to make too many assertions - positive or negative.

As far as Dell is concerned they are supposed to be showing a new business PC at PC Expo this week. The timing coincides with K7 launch. It will be fun it this ends up being a K7 machine. Let's see.

Chuck

RE:"Do you really think that Dell will be shut out from K7 production? If
AMD has a spare million K7 chips to sell and Michael Dell drops a dime
on AMD -- do you REALLY think that AMD will ignore it?"

No, I don't think that. I just don't think DELL will be first on the list while production is limited. They may also have to take some K6s.
I suspect DELL will wait and see what kind of concessions they get from Intel anyway.

Jim
