K could get a boost this week KELLOGG Engler, CEO will meet Gov. John Engler says he will meet with Kellogg Co. Chief Executive Officer Carlos Gutierrez next week to try to keep part of the historic Battle Creek plant from closing. Engler hinted in a statement that Michigan could come forward with financial help to keep the plant open. The cereal maker says cutbacks could eliminate 700 of the plant's 1,100 jobs.
