I lost a message from Tom but I think the option is not until dec 99 but longer until dec 2000 what is much better.
The option is at 0.56 and you get one option for one resticted share.

Hi steveK,
The offer would only be for free trading shares of BETT that are a street name or newly purchased shares where the cert. has been requested. In other words, any shares that would other wise be held in a street name and controlled by Cede & Company. Cede & Company borrows these BETT shares to anyone that is legally able to short BB stock. It would not be for restricted stock because the restricted stock is still in your name and can not currently be traded. Hope that answers your question. Go BETT!! Scoobey
