BR, I will take a position the day CISCO deploys core terabit routers and core ATM switch in a substantial volume in a major telecom carrier. The idea is to buy CSCO BEFORE they have the terrabit router techweb.com There is no mistake that they'll get significant sales. As for a core ATM switch. If I were a betting man, I'd be that CSCO continue to push POS (IP over optical) which will probably mean enhancements on current ATM platforms instead of new platforms. ATM brings nothing to the game once QoS on IP is ready for prime time...ATM would then just add overhead...no other benfit I can think of. Can you? OG
