Sigmund,

I hope you didn't take my advice several months ago to buy THQ stock long term and THQ options short term!

Having gotten lucky in December and burned in March and June, I've finally learned what others of you have been saying - that most of the time you lose playing options. It's one thing to predict the earnings growth of THQ, but another thing entirely to predict the stock price movement.

The only plus to all this is that I used the weakness over the last six months to double my THQ investment. And this time, I don't have to worry about timing.

PS - regarding the discussion on internut stocks, I don't have the stomach for the volatility of the stocks as individuals, but I wanted SOMETHING internet-related since I believe in the long-term prospects of the sector. So I own a small position in WWWFX, just 1/5th of my position in THQ. It's kinda fun, watching the ups and downs but not getting overly panicked or enthused day-to-day.
