Thanks, I think I'm beginning to get it. I remember walking alongside my dad when I was about 6 years old, at 6 foot 4, his legs were about twice as long as mine. I could walk, of course, but I had to run to keep up with him. Now I feel like that when I'm trying to "walk alongside" you and other experts as I'm learning. I'm running, trying to keep up, afraid I'm going to trip... wait Dad! I fell flat on my face back in April and got run over by an Internet call options dump truck! [on the buy side] I don't want that to happen again... Back from analogy land: Those puts are comforting right now... but I can see that there are times when they aren't so important.
