Contacts at our local gas utility tell me Can natural gas prices are trending towards the NYMEX price and are almost there now.. after years of trading below the NYMEX due to transportation (pipeline) constraints.

Can natural gas will soon be sold at the NYMEX price at the Nova Gate out west + a fee for transportation depending where delivery is made.

NYMEX (New York Mercantile Exchange) gas price is around 2.35 us so at an exchange rate of 1.45 that's 3.40 Can. ( for 1000 cubic feet )

Looks very good for the producers.
