Yes, I think so too. That's it's a very personal (and explosive) issue. It shouldn't be a political issue at all. Politics/politicians trying to regulate morals and/or such personal issues? Shouldn't happen.

Rocky, I would hope that the pro-life zealots or really a minority in the Republican party. Abortion should be a moral issue not a political issue. It is a shame that a certain number of people use it as a birth control method, which I cannot agree with, but any legislation concerning such a personal matter is doomed to failure in the first place. It is trying to ban something people ar going to do come Hell or high water. Didn't anyone learn the lesson of prohibition? More liquor was sold then, and of a sometime dangerous type than when it was legal. It's like some goody two shoes saying that a drunk just has no will power. HAH! If they think a drunk has no will power, just try to keep him from getting a drink. You will see will power in action. Any time you tell someone he can't do what he wants to do, he will find a way to do it.
